Mission Statement

The Mission of North Salem Baptist Church is to fulfill the Great Commission of Christ in Matthew 28:18-20: Then Jesus came near and said to them, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Vision Statement

The Vision of North Salem Baptist Church is to fulfill our MISSION and be a Lighthouse to our community by:

BOLDLY proclaiming the Word of God, Hebrews 4:16: Therefore let us approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us at the proper time.

LOVINGLY ministering to hurting hearts & Philippians 1:9-11: And I pray this: that your love will keep on growing in knowledge and every kind of discernment, so that you can approve the things that are superior and can be pure and blameless in the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God.

FAITHFULLY welcoming everyone as family 1 Peter 4:7-11: The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray. Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.

We agree to abide by The Baptist Faith and Message of 2000 as adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention. The specific ordinances of this body are Baptism and The Lord’s Supper.

This church shall operate freely and independently of any outside ecclesiastical power. In a spirit of mutual cooperation common among Southern Baptists we will associate with Savannah Baptist Association, the Georgia Baptist Mission Board, and the Southern Baptist Convention.
